President of Operations
Co-founder of Alpha Sports Academy, Noidys Nunez serves as President of Operations. With a professional baseball background of his own, Noidys holds the proper qualifications, experiences and skill to coach and train for baseball.
Noidy's profession in the game of baseball began in 2006 through 2008 while coaching/training high school freshman/varsity teams. He then went on to coach and play in the National Adult Baseball Association/Semi-Pro team Phoenix Diablos, Phoenix Indians and New Jersey Cardinals from 2008-2010. Shortly after in 2010-2011, He trained with Oakland A's High A team. From 2011-2012, he played in Mexico's Pro League. 2014-2015 he played Semi-Pro for the Lakeland Diamondbacks. Although Noidys no longer plays professionally, he dedicates himself to helping kids improve their skill levels in all aspects of the game of baseball.
John R. Lewter
President of Player Development
Co-founder of Alpha Sports Academy, John R. Lewter serves as President of Player Development. Having a variety of accomplishments in multiple sports, John trains, coaches and oversees the skill progression of athletes and authenticates proper technique.
Always having a love for sports, John began his professional sports career in 1999-2000 while playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates as a pitcher (Gulf Coast League). In 2000-2001 he travelled with the Johnstown Johnnies (Frontier League Championship). He later went on and played with the San Angelo Colts (Texas Spring Training) in 2003 and in 2006 was voted as "America's Best Quarterback" for Jeff Carlson's Quarterback Challenge. In that same year, John played in the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL) Las Vegas Kickoff Classic Champions and (MSBL) Phoenix Arizona World Series Champions. In 2010, John played for the Lakeland Yankees (Lakeland Adult Baseball League) and in 2012 was a quarterback for the Lakeland Raiders (Ultimate Indoor/Arena Football League). John currently trains all athletes in the area of strength and conditioning while continuing to work hands-on with football and baseball players of youth to adult ages.
